Designed for the land
Each labyrinth is designed in dialogue with the land it inhabits. I work with local stone, the contour of the site, and the intention of the keeper to create a structure that holds sacred energy for years to come.
A labyrinth is not a maze. It has a single path inward and a single path back. Walking it slowly is a meditation, a prayer, a way of asking and answering at once within a sacred container.
Walking the labyrinth
I lead small groups in guided labyrinth walks — a moving meditation in three movements. We release on the way in, receive at the center, and return changed. Walks are offered seasonally at different labyrinths.
The path inward
Each step lays down what no longer belongs to you.
The center
A pause. Whatever is waiting for you arrives here.
The path outward
You carry what you received back into ordinary life.
Commission Process
Site visit
In person I asses the space . We listen to what the land is asking for.
Design
A drawn proposal with materials, dimensions, and intention.
Build
On site, by hand, with stone gathered locally where possible.
Consecration
A small ritual to open the labyrinth to its keepers.
